During this year’s Starlight Celebration seasonal event in Final Fantasy XIV, you, the Warrior of Light can regale throngs of helpless children with the stories of your travels. In return for your good deeds, you will be visited by one of your comrades during the night — and receive a special present from them (spoiler: it’s mostly this crap.) Well, it’s the gift of giving that counts, right?

This seasonal event runs through Saturday, December 31st at 7am Pacific US Standard Time, so you can still catch the main event now. Remember, there’s a free login event going on right now, where you’ll be able to log in for 96 hours regardless of subscription status.
