Final Fantasy XIV heads into 2017 with the return of Heavensturn

As we round the corner into the new year, so does the Heavensturn event find its way back to Eorzea. Beginning December 31 at 7AM PST through January 16 at 6:59AM PST, Final Fantasy XIV players can get their hands on a number of goods highlighting 2017’s Year of the Rooster.

According to the event page, a delegation from the Far East has come to Eorzea to celebrate the advent of the year of the rooster, but it appears their leader is having trouble garnering the local citizens’ interest. Spurned─for reasons unbeknownst to him─by each and every person he attempts to approach, the tori bugyo is desperately trying to rectify a Heavensturn festival that may already be beyond salvation.

Players can reach out to the tori bugyo in Limsa Lominsa to begin their journey. There they’ll have the chance to obtain event-exclusive items such as the Red Tori Kabuto, Black Tori Kabuto, Happy New Chocobo and Heavensturn Orchestrion Roll.
