If you’ve been looking for an excuse to get back into Final Fantasy XIV, there’s no time like the present. Right now, players with an existing account can log in and play regardless of subscription status.

You’ll have four days (96 hours) starting from the day you first log in. After that, you’ll need to have an active subscription to keep playing. Regardless of when you start, the free login campaign ends on January 4th – so plan accordingly! The details are live on the Lodestone.

Begin: Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 3:00 a.m.
End: Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 6:59 a.m. (PST)

If you’re brand-new to the game, you can hit up the 30-day free trial here. Note that when you purchase the game, you’re also entitled to thirty additional free days before an active subscription is required.

Final Fantasy XIV is now available for Windows PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Mac. Patch 3.4 “Soul Surrender” went live on September 27th 2016. The Stormblood expansion will arrive in Early Summer 2017.
