Square Enix has gone live with a surprising holiday message from none other than Tetsuya Nomura — director and creator of Kingdom Hearts. The short, but sweet video depicts Nomura expressing his thanks to fans of the series for their longtime support, followed by him going into detail about the importance of 2017 as the year officially marks the 15th anniversary of the Kingdom Hearts franchise.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue releases for PlayStation 4 on January 12 in Japan, followed by North America and Europe on January 24, 2017. Click here to learn more about the bundle.
