NieR Automata‘s consumer demo will be available worldwide on December 22, Square Enix announced today. Soon available on the PlayStation Network, the demo features an abandoned factory as the backdrop, and follows android 2B’s mission to destroy a massive enemy weapon that lies within.

NieR: Automata is due out for PlayStation 4 in Japan on February 23, North America on March 7 and in Europe on March 10. A PC release via Steam is set for some time in 2017.
