Susan Calloway releases new “Answers Remix” track By Erren Van Duine on December 11, 2016 at 5:26 PM

Susan Calloway’s “Answers Remix” track is now available for online purchase, following its initial CD release at Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival in October. According to a Gamer Escape interview with the artist, Susan Calloway re-sang the song for this new recording and put some “cool vocal stuff to it.”

“I think the fans will really like it,” says Calloway. “It’s more of a fun and more optimistic pop version of Answers – it’s not as dark. It’s nice though, because the song is so popular, to be able to give people different versions of it.”

Earlier this year, fans were treated to the “Artist Cut” of Answers – featuring a softer take on the powerful theme.

Who the fuck cares?! I miss when this site used to report primarily FFXV news.

  • tokotamer

Because XV is the only thing going on with FF right now, yeah?

XIV is still a huge part of the franchise.

  • Ryuke

The roughly half a million people who play FFXIV perhaps? Or the FF fans who visit the site for a broader range of FF news, not just FFXV?

You can filter the news by game if you want to read about FFXV only, although an advanced warning… news for FFXV will slowly dry up now that the game has released and will peak when DLC or big patches hit.

  • Noctis

well this site is not only about FFXV

  • stevenm281

its not just a FF15 website… it talks about everything Square Enix related.

  • stevenm281

Any way to listen to a preview before purchasing?

  • Jesus Christ

It most likely won’t be that much different from the original. Or, I’d just wait for several hours and you get someone upload on YouTube.

  • Ryuke

Her new version of Answers from earlier in the year was on Spotify, so I’d imagine this would be too.

*EDIT* Yes, it is, just checked.

  • Leonardo Cruz

This version is very, very, VERY BAD. Really, don’t waste your money.
You can hear for free in Spotify by the way, but you will waste your time.

  • stevenm281

well I hate the original version, so I might like this one better.

  • XenoSilvano

FINAL FANTASY XV has already been released and it was shit

I would rather read news on FINAL FANTASY VII Remake and other titles from Square-enix from now on

  • stevenm281

its not the best FF, but its among the best, it wasnt shit.

  • XenoSilvano

among the best, c’mon… I actually thought that it was among the worst in terms of the presentation of the story… yikes, that was bad

I felt so ’empty’, so unsatisfied with the game and the ending that it makes me sad, it makes me question whether Square-enix will ever be able to release a game rivals in sort of narrative quality of prior titles

I am hopeful that FINAL FANTASY VII Remake will capture some of the ‘magic’ that made the original so appealing to so many people

  • stevenm281

I agree that the story presentation wasnt all that great, but other than that, the story itself is good, and gameplay rocks!

Anyway Tabata heard the critics, and they are working on new scenes to add to the game to polish the story.

  • XenoSilvano

I thought the premise of the story had a lot of potential, however, I felt like the premise of that potential was never appropriately realised through the way the story was presented

I thought the gameplay is good too, although, I wish there where a more ‘explorative’ aspect to the game’s world, where the player could discover the sort of background information about the game’s world that you would typically find in within an Ultimania book through ‘explorative gameplay’, allow gamers to visit Galhad so that they can get a broader understanding about various background details of the game’s universe

  • stevenm281

Yeah, they keep talking about Ghalad in Kingsglaive since its Nyx and Libertus hometown, and yet, its not in the game… I was looking forward to meet Libertus since he did say that’s where he’d be once he left Insomnia.

The only way to learn about the world details is by listening to the radios scattered across the land.

  • Huh. WHEN? I have been here since FFXIII-2 eras. This site has never been FFXV exclusive.

  • Can’t be helped. People today are so self-obsessed. I mean things could became shit if you didn’t like it? This is so fucked up. I’m so glad I don’t have this attitude problem.

  • XenoSilvano

    #### you too
