NieR: Automata "Emil Edition" PlayStation 4 hardware announced for Japan By Erren Van Duine on January 29, 2017 at 9:15 PM

Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan and Square Enix are planning to launch a special edition hardware featuring NieR: Automata. Dubbed the “Emil Edition”, this Slim PS4 will be available on February 23 in limited quantity sold through the Sony Store.

The top cover of this hardware features the character Emil, a prominent character from the NieR series.

Featured in Jet Black, the “Emil Edition” PS4 comes available in several flavors: a 500GB unit for 33,380 yen + tax and a 1TB unit for 38,480 yen + tax. Fans will also have the option to buy just the top cover on its own, to be delivered in April.

In addition to a special package design, this bundle includes an original NieR: Automata theme for PS4, a NieR: Automata-themed top cover, wireless DualShock 4 controller, mono headset, power cord, HDMI cable and a USB cable. Please note the game itself is not included here.
