A large portion of Final Fantasy XV's staff are still at work on the project

Final Fantasy XV‘s development team is alive and well, says Square Enix. Speaking with DualShockers, director Hajime Tabata revealed 70% of the original workforce is currently picking away at updates, downloadable content and VR experiences.

The remaining 30% has since moved on to other projects and development divisions within the company.

Tabata says they’d like to provide support for the game as long as possible – at the moment they have plans for a year’s worth of content. From what we know so far, the next update will drop on February 21 and include the “Booster Pack” DLC along with the promised 60fps PS4 Pro patch.

Then, on March 28, those with the Season Pass can access the first round of story content with “Episode Gladiolus” and adjustments to Chapter 13. Following that, “Episode Prompto” will be available sometime in June.

Final Fantasy XV is now available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
