Mobius Final Fantasy now available on Steam

Mobius Final Fantasy is now available on Steam – the PC version of the mobile game of the same name. This port of the game supports 4k display and 60 frames-per-second performance, as well as an updated UI that makes use of a Landscape mode. Mobius is developed by many of the staff behind the Final Fantasy XIII series, including producer Yoshinori Kitase.

A young man is summoned to the world of Palamecia with no semblance of his past. Here he is guided by a disembodied voice named Vox to become the Warrior of Light, and save the world. Mobius Final Fantasy uses a traditional turn-based system that makes use of special jobs and abilities gained through collecting cards. These cards can be leveled up and fused together to create even more

Mobius Final Fantasy is free up front, but expect the usual gacha mechanics here. You’ll have the option to pay real money for a random chance at powerful card upgrades for your character.

It’s also important to note that the game is currently collaborating with the Final Fantasy VII Remake, and is featuring a special crossover event called Eclipse Contact.
