Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] is coming West too

Following up on today’s announcement for Japan, Square Enix has confirmed a Western release for Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross].

Promoted as the relaunch of mobile title Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ, fans can download this free update beginning next month – adding the new “Union Cross” multiplayer mode and more avatar customization options.

With Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross], players can create teams of six from their party members or through a matchmaking feature to fight hordes of Heartless enemies and powerful bosses. Players can also take on quests of increasing difficulty as well as unique new missions. To help these teams of friends communicate with each other, the game will now include emotes and text bubbles. The addition of the new “Theater Mode” will allow players to relive the drama and rewatch cutscenes.

English pre-registration has opened here, with players welcome to exclusive smartphone wallpapers and in-game rewards. Square Enix also plans on giving out a number of in-game presents in celebration of the relaunch.
