Dragon Quest Heroes II demo now available overseas

Square Enix has made a Dragon Quest Heroes II demo available for overseas fans starting today. Available as a free download from the PlayStation Store, the demo gives players an early chance to play as four of the 15 playable heroes from the full game’s story mode – including series newcomers Lazarel and Teresa.

The demo also gives a quick look at the game’s battle system, vast environments, quests and a boss battle.

Dragon Quest Heroes II is due out for PlayStation 4 and PC on April 25. Those who pre-order the Day One Explorer’s Edition will receive 15 in-game bonus weapons, and pre-orders through the PlayStation Store will receive exclusive items including a PS4 theme, Dragon Quest 1 Hero Costume and a special “Healix the Hero” recipe for Dragon Quest Builders.

We caught up with the demo during its Japanese release. Have a look at our play-through here.
