Square Enix has updated Mobius Final Fantasy with an all-new hard mode difficulty. Commencing today, fans can follow the Azure Witch and embark for Primordia once again in the new “Chapter I: Blank Slate (Hard Mode),” which will allow players to join grueling battles and fight tougher enemies for a chance to earn increased rewards. “Chapter II: Hope and Prophecy (Hard Mode)” will be available to all players on May 23.

Today’s update also comes with the addition of brand-new Ability Cards and a new Supreme Card, granting Warriors of Light more ways to combat their enemies. New multiplayer “Taunt” cards featuring Cerberus, Vanadis, Loxley, Titania, Jupitera and Sabnock will allow players to provoke and force enemies to attack. As a bonus, Final Fantasy VI’s Duncan Harcourt will make a cameo appearance in the form of a new “Duncan: FFVI” Supreme Card, which will be available to summon from today until June 1.
