I doubt that they’ll say anything about an hypothetical release in the west…

HOWEVER, this should be a good time to unveil the mysteries of the Switch version of this game that we currently don’t know about.

  • Jesiah Grant

Could probably learn how to read japanese before this game ever gets confirmed to the west….why does square take so long sometimes :/

  • Starlord

Most of the direct will be about the game itself in Japanese.. I however wouldn’t rule out the idea of them announcing a localized version of it.

  • One Eco

I don’t have any problem with it, I’ve been playing DQX for 4 long years during the weekends!

  • One Eco

Yeah, this game looks like it will have a lot of text to localize, and I can totally see SE using the “dub card” from DQVIII again

  • Starlord

If only I could read Japanese I wouldn’t be bothered so much about a no localizationm

  • Jesiah Grant

Lucky man…you know japanese? must be such a blessing ><

  • One Eco

About that… when I started I had (literally) no idea what the characters were talking about. However now I can perfectly resume the plot word by word x’D (I’ve learned some words, I decipher the rest thanks to the context of the dialogue/monologue/etc)

  • Jesiah Grant

ahaha thats cool 馃槢 Always interested in DQX heard its coming to switch, so I might pick it up

  • Starlord

Just seems too much effort to enjoy the game itself.. My brain would implode doing that stuff xD.

  • One Eco

I’m a hardcore DQ-fan, so the pain was worth it. DQX is actually the BEST DQ game, storywise

  • One Eco

You’ll enjoy it for sure, people always gets surprised when I say that DQX is the best DQ game, storywise that is!

  • Jesiah Grant

Woah, well I’ve never actually played a dragon quest. But I was always interested. Thought I’d make XI my first DQ game, but perhaps X will be

  • Lord Shiru

The Switch version is still a complete mystery thus far.
Hope that we get some informations about it ;-).

The bad thing about DQX is that it’s an MMORPG, however, if they mirror the actions made by the Japanese and Chinese server, the weekends should be free for everyone to play (if you bought the game, of course, playing the offline free prologue doesn’t make you a player)

  • Jesiah Grant

Oh I see, I know more chinese then I do japanese so maybe I’ll begin on that server.

  • Jesiah Grant

No information was given on the switch version :/ just watched the video…
