Dragon Quest XI details 3DS exclusive features; new screenshots

Square Enix has released a heavy set of screenshots detailing Dragon Quest XI and its sweet features exclusive to its Nintendo 3DS version.

To start things off, we’re treated with another look at the game’s “StreetPass” feature which sees players interacting with the “Yoochi” race; collecting its various members in the game’s world or from other players and send them into the “Labyrinth Beyond Time” dungeon to defeat monsters, acquire treasure and obtain “Adventure Log Password”. Those very passwords, when presented to the Yoochi Elder, will bestow players to visit the worlds of past Dragon Quest games in the form of quests.

If you’re hungry for more, the gallery of screenshots also shows off the game’s 3D mode and 2D mode, with both options offering players different visual setups and gameplay quirks. Check here to read more about the RPG’s Nintendo 3DS features.
