Watch Lost Sphear’s “Welcome to the World” trailer By Erren Van Duine on August 30, 2017 at 11:20 AM

Lost Sphear, the second title from Tokyo RPG Factory, is scheduled to arrive at this year’s upcoming PAX West, which will be held at the Washington State Convention Center from September 1 to 4. A demo will be available to play for attendees, with a chance to take photos with characters Kanata and Lumina at the Square Enix booth (#2141).

Along with this announcement is a brand new trailer featuring the game’s modern take on classic role-playing games (from the same vein of the developers’ first title, I Am Setsuna), with enhanced turn-based battles and mechanized Vulcosuit armors.

Attendees who have pre-ordered the game from the Square Enix Online Store will receive an exclusive Lost Sphear t-shirt. On the other hand if you are unable to attend you can tune in on the official Twitch livestream on Sunday, September 3 at 2:00 pm Pacific time.

Lost Sphear is releasing digitally on the PlayStation Store, Nintendo Switch’s eShop, and Steam on January 23, 2018. The game is also available for pre-order as a physical package exclusively from the Square Enix Online Store for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

Well if nothing else, it seems to be better quality than I am Setsuna ( Even though I loved the game). I also want to support them for trying to bring back the 90’s.. and they are doing a pretty good job at modernizing the graphics while keeping to the gameplay Chrono Trigger did.

  • Isn’t “welcome to the world” a dothack trademark tagline?

  • Justice V
