Lost Sphear is launching on October 12th in Japan for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. From the developers of I Am Setsuna, Lost Sphear takes many of the same gameplay system and adds more features such as the ability to move during it’s turn-based combat and has seamless environments. Using the power of Memory, main protagonist Kanata will journey to save the world from fading into oblivion.

North American fans will have to wait until January 23rd 2018 to play Lost Sphear, where it will release digitally on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. A physical version of the game is offered exclusively through the Square Enix Online Store.

The hype is real 🙂 !
The fact that you can move your character to aim is already an evolution compared to Chrono Trigger.
That would make this less random and more fun :).

  • Ulises

Ok they really got me now, this looks good.

  • Coliro Constantine

Man… if that opening song for the trailer is actually in the game – that alone pretty much has me sold.

  • Huh…. maybe this will be their magnus opus.

  • Noneofyourbusiness

    Magnum opus.

Hopefully there’s more to come from this studio.

  • I like using “magnus” cause it means great and was the nickname Xavier (Prof. X) had for Magneto.
