Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy Legends II will be getting an English release on November 1st under the name Final Fantasy Dimensions II.

According to an article over RPGsite, Final Fantasy Dimensions II was originally released in Japan under the name Final Fantasy Legends: Toki no Suisho, but upon its relaunch, the title was changed to Final Fantasy Legends II.

Final Fantasy Legends II is a free-to-play app for iOS and Android devices with in-game purchases, however, it is currently unknown at this time how in-game transactions will work in the Western release of the game.

    It isn’t free to play, this version iirc correctly is a full priced stand alone version with all the content in it, since Legends II ended a few days ago because they could no longer make a product that would meet players’ expectations.

    Are you sure of that? Because since the succes of RC and especially BE is Square completely into the Free to Play Gacha games

    Many of those who played the game got the notice of the end of serviceof the F2P version a few weeks ago. My girlfriend was the one who informed me of this, since she was playing for a while and translated a lot of the game’s summons and other stuff for that FF Wiki site for almost 2 years. The game will be $14.99 when it launches tomorrow, so the micro transactions will be removed.
