Final Fantasy VII Remake collaboration event returns to Mobius Final Fantasy By Raptorchan on December 4, 2017 at 2:33 AM

The Final Fantasy VII Remake collaboration event in Mobius Final Fantasy returns this month for its second run. Starting December 2, players will not only get chance to team up with Cloud to travel through the “Eclipse Contact” region, but Cloud will also be obtainable as an Ultimate Hero card; making him the second Ultimate Hero card available in Mobius Final Fantasy after Final Fantasy XIII’s Lightning.

Players who equip this new card will receive generous boosts to their stats and ultimate abilities, and they will take on the appearance of Cloud during combat as well.

A new trailer was released for the occasion, showcasing the new card in action.

This collaboration event also promises to bring new items to those who venture into the Mako Reactor, one of these items includes Aerith’s iconic “umbrella” weapon.

Other December updates for Mobius Final Fantasy include:

  • Year-End Greater Summon Festival: Starting December 2, players will be able to obtain Final Fantasy VII Remake cards through the FFVII Remake Boosted Greater Summon. Additionally, specific Legend jobs will be guaranteed on the 8th summon through the Legend Job Greater Summon. The Legend job will be changing every four days, allowing players the chance to get every Legend job throughout December.
  • Christmas Campaign: Starting December 17 through December 25, a special Christmas campaign brings all Mobius Day bonuses to players. Bonuses like double stamina recovery from elixirs, increased fusion success rates and a fully open Pleiades Lagoon will be in effect throughout the entire week. Christmas companion spirits will also boost the rate of unlocking card skills.
  • Novices’ Hall New Area: New players will be able to enjoy an expanded tutorial area to learn the basics of battle using the Warrior, Mage and Ranger jobs. Veteran and beginners will be rewarded with Magicite, Summon Tickets and large amounts of skillseeds upon completing the new stages. Warrior, Mage and Ranger cards will also be gifted to players for free in this area.
  • Rewards for New and Returning Players: A prize tier was introduced on December 2, allowing all players the chance to gain free summon draws. Based on the combined number of new and returning players who access the game between now and December 20 will decide the rank of prize all players will receive by the deadline. They EVER going to give North America the chance at the Sephiroth Event?

  • Fay Knights

All in due time=) I am sure they release it along with new information on the VII Remake. At least that’s what they did with past events…

hasn’t it already been available in japan though for a LONG while? i’ve seen the trailers and cards and videos, unless those videos ( not the trailers ) are just people who hacked their game and unlocked the data that’s already there?

  • Fay Knights

Yes, you’re totally right! They got the Sephiroth event same time we got the 1st VII event, which was when they had announced something about the remake. But the Japanese version is also about a year ahead of us so naturally it will take some time before we get the same stuff. Actually I tought they are repeating the 1st because they are planning to bring the Sephiroth event to us soon. Definitely looking forward to that! I hope it will include Sephiroth’s skin!
