Final Fantasy XIV‘s Patch 4.25 arrives on Tuesday,March 13th, and with it comes the Forbidden Land Eureka and the return of Hildibrand.

Eureka will feature a unique type of gameplay where up to 144 players can gather in a single instance and tackle various goals including hunting notorious monsters. This unexplored land will include its own leveling system with the acquisition of “elemental EXP” which can be used to strengthen your elemental prowess. Using a Magia Board, you can customize your character elemental affinities which will be essential in staying alive as you explore and fight. Depending on what goals you have in mind, you’ll need to plan out your affinities with a Magia Melder before you run off into the wilderness.

You’ll occasionally earn protean crystals which can by the master blacksmith Gerolt to enhance special gear obtained through this content.
