Final Fantasy VI’s Locke Cole joins the roster of Dissidia Final Fantasy By Wazi the pa on May 15, 2018 at 7:34 AM

Final Fantasy VI’s ‘Treasure Hunter’ is the latest character to join the cast of Dissidia Final Fantasy Arcade and Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, Square Enix announced today in their character reveal livestream.

UPDATE #1: Locke will be playable for arcade systems on May 17, with Dissidia Final Fantasy NT getting him this June.

Wearing his signature blue bandanna and equipped with a pair of long daggers, Locke Cole is a speed-type character capable of dashing into his enemies and dealing strong and fast swipes with a small pocket of slightly long-range attacks to change things up.

The inclusion of Locke makes him the second character available with the season pass, but can also be purchased separately.

    I like him!

    Hello my new main!

  • Respect. I didn’t see that coming.
I hope he and Zidane have some cool interactions.
Now he’ll get a voice and if the remake FF6 that guy can keep doing him.

Interesting, I actually didn’t see this coming. Minwu was my guess. For FFVI specifically I was hoping we’d get Celes before Locke since she’s the secondary protagonist, but Locke’s a good choice regardless. He looks fun as hell to play as too.

Kind of sad that they did not put Celes in this game, since I was hoping she would finally show up…

Funny enough though Locke was actually semi-revealed for the Dissidia Secretum drama event back in December last year even showing artwork for Locke during the event. So many people actually knew beforehand who it was, good job Square lol.

That moonring blade tho. Wonder if you can cancel mid-action. If you can, that’s a lot of different kinds of combos you can do!
