The multiplayer component to Final Fantasy XV will be seeing its own standalone edition and is set to release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on December 12 in North America, and December 13 in Europe and Japan.

Titled simply as “Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer: Comrades“, the game will include 10 new additional bosses on top of the content offered from its DLC counterpart, with a strong emphasis on co-op gameplay allowing up to four players to battle against powerful enemies and take on various hunts, quests and more.

This I will be playing obviously. Comrades basically makes the XV bosses actual threats. (Since they’re pathetically easy in the main game)

    Co-op like cooperative lol

I think the demand and outcry for more couch co-op title in recent time have pushed certain developers to think twice about it.

Thankfully, there are plenty of indie titles that are bringing back such experiences.

If they make it standalone, they should make it open-world for us to explore and get to quest locations and camps on our own.

I am not much into indie games. However, I am willing to give them a chance.
