Be warned: the trailer below may contain story spoilers!

Kingdom Hearts III will release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One January 25th, 2019 in Japan and January 29th in North America and Europe.

Feels a bit short to me

  • 4FFAN

It’s a sneak peek not the full thing lol. The full song is almost 4 minutes long.

  • Artemis Polara

Even for the opening video version, it’s rather short. Unless you’re suggesting this is a preview of the opening video itself, in which case, nothing I’ve found supports that claim.

  • 4FFAN

I am saying that it’s a preview of the opening video. It was said on the official twitter accounts.

  • Artemis Polara

That’s not what it says unless you’re trying to really stretch what it means by “Here’s a sneak peek at how the epic adventure begins.”
Till I get some real confirmation about the intro’s length. Which I only expect an additional 20-30 seconds for the SE and Disney logos, I’m still calling it a disappointment.

  • Randy Marsh

Eh, the openings for all KH games use the full song. So if the song, like most high profile industry, is about 3-4 mins expect a longer opening. Also the SE and DIsney logos are usually placed before the actual song starts.

However man, those record scratching noises, oh lordie noie….

  • 4FFAN

On the Japanese account, Nomura said that he couldn’t post the full opening because of the song, but that he was allowed to edit a trailer with some of the opening’s footage.

  • Dude

Sounded good until the super Skrillex-y part a minute in. I don’t dislike the song but it doesn’t fit

  • Artemis Polara

No the credits use the full songs. The intros use a semi shortened version. Not too short mind you but still not as long.

  • Randy Marsh

Incorrect, they never used short versions, they use the Remix versions which are just faster pace, however they still clock in about 4 mins each. In addition, entirely new case here, as Face My Fears and Don’t Think Twice are completely different songs.

  • Cain Barron

The first half is really good until…. There better be a version without Skrillex mixing.

  • Artemis Polara

Um…. The remixes ARE shorter versions. It’s the same thing. Also personal opinion but I think Face my fears sucks. It’s a step down in terms in KH themes.

  • I’m not gonna listen to it. But I will say this, I hope how ever this game ends, I hope all the characters I like live thru it. I don’t want any spoilers but I got a bad feeling from what I have seen in the past trailers. That’s why I stopped.

  • He’s just not right for KH.

  • Shame. At least the one she does alone will make the ending good.

  • I listened to it now. It’s pretty bad.
