With this year’s E3 event closing in, Square Enix has revealed the first of their plans for the biggest annual video game expo.

Commencing on Monday June 10 at 6:00PM PT/9:00PM ET, the company will host a special livestream presentation to showcase “an exciting line up of titles”— ultimately acting as their sort of press conference for the expo.

E3 2019 will take place from June 11 to June 13 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Stay tuned to Nova Crystallis for all the latest.

Come on Square, let’s get some FFVII Remake news! when they said this was going to be the year of FFVII I didn’t think they meant for news on the OLD game LOL

  • Krijn van Alten

I hope they have learned from last year.

  • Me too
Right now their own good games are KH3 and FF14

  • Since it’s not gonna come out no time soon I rather get new on games that will be out soon

  • Patrick Bateman

I ain’t expecting the game this year, but why would they say 2019 is going to be the year of FFVII Remake news? the year is still early for sure, but so far it’s still been radio silent lol we’ve been getting more features and videos about the original FFVII port…

The orchestra concert is just the day before. Fingers crossed they’re pulling what they did for KH3 in 2017 lol

  • I think maybe they will speak on 7. But the problem is, speaking on it is bothersome to me because I know whatever they say it’s gonna pale in comparison to having actual games come out in the near future.

  • Patrick Bateman

well that’s you :p everyone else wants some damn news hahaha it’s been too long since we’ve gotten any official public trailers or even screenshots that weren’t blurry bootleg images from closed events in Japan…

  • Stonespear

I don’t know what they can offer that’s great news. We know Shadowbringers is coming for FF14. Kingdom Hearts is done for all intents and purposes. Unless they have a lot of information on FF7R.

Hard to get excited, especially when they’re asking us to. Consider the FF14 phrase: “Please look forward to it.”

  • There’s plenty I’d like to see from Square Enix this E3 that isn’t FF VII R (tbh the project of theirs I care the least about).
Dragon Quest XI S still has no release date (though I think they might move that over to Nintendo’s presentation and the game might really be better off there) and that is my most wanted RPG of 2019; and Dragon Quest Builders 2 is also looking like a step up from the first game. There’s the elusive Babylon’s Fall, which we haven’t heard anything from since last E3 and given it was teased as “Coming 2019”. And finally, there’s also SaGa Scarlet Grace, a game which has been said to receive an English translation by its producer, but hasn’t ben formally announced yet. Also, they might have something that hasn’t been announced yet.

Really don’t get the negativity, but OK, apparently FF is still the one thing anyone cares about in regards to SE. https://media2.giphy.com/media/XeXzWgD6P4LG8/giphy.gif

Yeah, I have a feeling they’re going to promote the game similarly to how they promoted KHIII considering how well that worked.

  • Stonespear

I just don’t find their other ventures very interesting outside of FF

  • All that news will amount to is more questions and waiting.
