Square Enix has released another new gameplay video for the upcoming action RPG title Oninaki, which is scheduled to release on August 22, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC(Steam).

Daemons are powerful Lost Soul types incapable of reincarnation. Each of them represents a different weapon, and players can equip them to perform a range of ‘special Daemon attacks.’ Players can also manage their Daemon’s skills and switch between them in real-time to land crushing blows.

The lengthy combat video below focuses on Lucica, a daemon whose specialty is hand-to-hand supported by devices that enhance player abilities. She can also use barriers and techniques that block enemy attacks while dealing out massive amounts of damage. You can check out her full appearance on the official Japanese website.

Translations provided via Siliconera, Lucica is a Daemon who gives it her all when it comes to her duties. She wants to become stronger and wiser, and tends to focus on these traits exclusively for extended periods of time. She also believes that people who are forging a path toward a new age are the light and hope for the future.
