In addition to today’s release date announcement, Square-Enix has shared some information regarding FINAL FANTASY XIII-2’s upcoming DLC plans.

While not much, they do confirm that DLC does exist for the game, but it won’t be launching until sometime after the it releases. As to what exactly that DLC will contain is anyone’s guess. Those who pre-order at select outlets in Japan will also receive bonus DLC. Again, the contents of those are currently unknown, and presumably will be announced at a later date.
