FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 is Almost Complete

Famitsu.com caught up with Yoshinori Kitase during the current European media tour for the game.

Among the list of stops included countries like Italy, France, Spain, and London.

Fans at the London event were treated to around 10 minutes of new footage including Sunleth Waterscape, and an introduction to guest battles with Snow.

Famitsu was able to grab a few questions and answers from the producer. Most importantly, FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 is nearing completion. This shouldn’t be surprising since the game is just over a month from shipping in Japan.

Kitase said that he himself is currently playing the game, and feels it has a nice balance between the story and gameplay elements. He says the story itself is quite epic.

When questioned on if a fan had said anything to him that had left a lasting impression, Kitase noted a girl had asked him in Japanese, “When is [FINAL FANTASY] Versus XIII coming out?” to which he could not reply.
