It’s only taken 4 years, but the time has finally come. Famitsu reveals what the mysterious Final Fantasy Versus XIII truly looks like, and it is absolutely incredible.

The game is shown here running in real time, on actual PlayStation 3 hardware. Nomura hopes to improve the visuals even more than what we see here.

With the game being open field, it’s already shaping up to look better than sister game, Final Fantasy XIII. It’s still a ways off, but Nomura promises that they’re making preparations for a big announcement.
