Square Enix has released some new screenshots for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.

This time, we get to see several shots from the game’s new character creation system, as well as a few in-game shots from the alpha test currently running in Japan. Much like the current version’s character creator, you’ll of course be able to choose from a variety of options as you ready your character to enter the realm of Eorzea. New additions include the ability to play as a male Miqo’te or female Roegadyn for the first time. Plans for even more features will be added at a later date.

Alpha test invites for those outside of Japan are expected to drop within the next couple weeks.
