Director Tetsuya Nomura to Attend E3 2010

A few months ago, director Tetsuya Nomura claimed that he wasn’t sure if his magnum opus, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, would even make it to E3 this year. Perhaps that has since changed.
Today, producer Shinji Hashimoto shared a few curious comments via twitter.
大阪支店出張中です。只今、野村ディレクターと新作打ち合わせ中。すごい企画！
“I’m at the Osaka branch office on a business trip. Just now, I had a meeting with director Nomura about a new project. It’s amazing!”
Later he writes:
先週は、アジア、今日は、大阪。来週は、野村ディレクターと久しぶりにE3出張です。皆様、お楽しみに
“Last week was Asia, today is Osaka. Next week, after a long time, director Nomura will be attending E3 on a business trip. Everyone look forward to it.”
This could mean several things. Namely… will Final Fantasy Versus XIII be at the show in some form? Perhaps behind closed doors? Or not even at all. Since Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep is coming out in September, Nomura could be attending to promote it, as it is one of Square’s larger franchises.
Only time will tell as we count down to the fifteen days remaining before E3.
