Final Fantasy XIII series announced for Windows PC

It looks like all three Final Fantasy XIII games will be heading to PC in the near future, Square Enix revealed today. Set for release on Windows PC, the games will be available starting with Final Fantasy XIII on October 9th for download from Steam and the Square Enix online store. Priced at $15.99, the game can be pre-ordered now for a 10% discount and will offer up a set of Steam Trading Cards across all three titles.

The Final Fantasy XIII series launched in the West in March 2010 with the release of the original, which then continued with its direct sequel in 2012, and finally Lightning Returns earlier this year shipping a combined total of 11 million units worldwide.

Square Enix plans on having the entire trilogy together on PC by next Spring.
