Final Fantasy XV TGS 2014 trailer breaks one year of silence

At long last Final Fantasy XV steps out of the shadows. Having shed its Versus XIII moniker over a year ago, Square Enix remained quiet on the status of its next flagship title until last night when news broke of a planned demo arriving at some point next year. Players outside of the development team were finally going to get their hands on a game almost 9 years in the making. With the demo’s now official announcement for release across all regions, the doors of Tokyo Game Show have been drawn back to reveal a new trailer.

The new trailer shows off a bit of main character Noctis along with his friends Prompto, Gladiolus, and Ignus as they travel across the world of Final Fantasy XV. Gameplay, cutscenes and character changes abound can be seen in this all-new, but brief experience.

While no release date was provided, the game remains in development with a demo arriving together with Type-0 HD.
