Dragon Quest X officially coming to Nintendo NX

In a recent interview with Famitsu, Dragon Quest X producer Yosuke Saito mentioned ports of the game for the Nintendo NX and PlayStation 4 when asked about the server load on the current Wii, Wii U, and Windows version of the MMO.

Translated by IGN, Saito’s repsonse was:

“I think there will be an influx of new players that peaks with the launch of the PS4 and NX editions”, said Saito. “Up until then, rather than the incoming new players, we are doing our best for the people who are playing already.”

Dragon Quest X currently sits on version 3.3 with no word of the game’s version 4 release date other than it’s currently in development alongside with new content being worked on for version 3. As it stands, no official confirmation has been made whether the game will come to Western regions or not. Stay tuned to Nova Crystallis for all the latest.
