Tabata: Currently no plans for a Final Fantasy XV PS4 Pro bundle

Sorry game fans, it looks like Final Fantasy XV‘s “Luna Edition” hardware is exclusive to the new PlayStation 4 slim model. If you were hoping to get your hands on a Pro version… well, let’s just say it won’t be happening any time soon.

Speaking with Famitsu, director Hajime Tabata says there’s currently no plans to do a collaboration model PlayStation 4 Pro. That said, they are hearing your voices on it.

Of course, Final Fantasy XV will support PlayStation 4 Pro at launch. Tabata says you’ll be able to enjoy the game in 4K resolution on a 4K TV and the natural and brilliant contrast in HDR. He believes PS4 Pro is the way to go for those looking for a “richer game experience.”

Unfortunately he’s yet to share any hard specifics as the team is also focusing on making the standard version the best it can be when it launches on November 29.
