Final Fantasy XV x Assassin's Creed collaboration announced

Well what do you know, Final Fantasy is teaming up with Assassin’s Creed again. The announcement revealed today by Ubisoft and Square Enix details a set of homages that will cater to each other’s universes.

The collaboration officially kicks off (in FFXV) on August 30 for players who obtained the Dream Egg from the Moogle Chocobo Carnival event. Those who have this item will be granted access to a “Master Assassin’s Robe” outfit for Noctis.

Then on August 31 the free Assassin’s Festival DLC for Final Fantasy XV will drop. Here, the town of Lestallum will transform itself with signs and banners and new activities will be available for players to participate in.

The Assassin’s Festival will have some additional themed items and features such as another outfit from Assassin’s Creed and abilities that enable Noctis to explore like an Assassin and use some of the Assassins’ more well-known abilities.
