Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition is coming to the Nintendo Switch this Fall for North America, as was announced on the Nintendo Direct livestream event today. Dragon Quest XI S will feature some new options, allowing fans to switch between HD graphics or old-school 16-bit visuals, Japanese or English audio, the option to choose between the original or new orchestral soundtrack and more.

This version of the game will also feature newly added character specific stories and the ability to speed up battles. You can check out the announcement trailer below.
