FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 1.03 Patch Adds Social Networking By Erren Van Duine on February 3, 2012 at 3:13 AM

A worldwide patch for all regions has just been pushed out for FFXIII-2 in time for the European release.

The patch updates the game to version 1.03 and brings with it social networking compatibility. More specifically, you now have the ability to send game progress updates to sites such as Facebook.

While not much, you have the ability to enable to disable SNS through the settings menu. With SNS enabled, you can send your progress through the Historia Crux menu simply by pressing L3. The messages to send are all present and include things like “I’m starting FFXIII-2,” “My party consists of characters X,Y,X” etc.

Square Enix Japan has also opened an official XIII-2 Facebook page.
