Those wishing to forgo the physical release of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn are being made to wait no longer. Square Enix has announced today that they’ve lifted digital download purchasing restrictions following several sever adjustments and monitoring by Producer/Director Naoki Yoshida.

Digital stores are still being updated as of this posting to reflect the change, but the digital version of the game should be available in your area soon if it isn’t already.

On a different note, anyone hoping to get the physical collector’s version of the game should hopefully have theirs by now – Square Enix has confirmed that edition of the game will remain truly limited and will not be reprinted.
