Final Fantasy XIV’s relaunch has proved quite the success for Square Enix – the company now citing over 1.5 million registers users since launch back in August.

The combined total represents users from across all territories with even more users expected to join once the PS4 version beta launches on February 22, 2014. Additionally, Square Enix will be bringing the first content update – Patch 2.1 – later this upcoming December and will introduce players to PvP, player housing, new dungeons and more.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is available now for $39.99 on the PlayStation 3 and $29.99 for Windows PC. A free 30-day trial is included for new accounts, with monthly subscriptions starting at $12.99. The PlayStation 4 version is set to drop in early 2014.
