This week marks the beginning of Lightning’s inclusion in Final Fantasy XIV’s own realm of Eorzea, as part of the much talked about and often controversial Final Fantasy GO THERE campaign set to spread itself across several games in the series.

Spread across four separate chapters, Lightning’s FATE quests will be available on each server every other day to conclude on December 9th. By participating, players will receive various Final Fantasy XIII-styled gear including Lightning and Snow outfits as well as various FFXIII weapons. The quest can be initiated in one of the game’s three city-states by talking to reporters situated around each area.

While these FATEs are currently finite, Lightning will return again around February in time for the North American and European launches of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.
