Spoilers abound in this week’s rendition of Japanese magazine news. With even more Lightning Returns coverage expected this week in the lead up to release, the gloves are about to come off as some of Square Enix’s carefully kept information on the game makes its way onto the web.

Dengeki PlayStation already has its own bits to share – including a comprehensive interview with Motomu Toriyama, Yoshinori Kitase and Yuji Abe discussing the game’s ending. Details remain sparse for now, but the biggest reveal this week comes in the form of one of Final Fantasy XIII’s familiar faces. It seems Cid Raines will be making his reappearance, although how or why remains yet unknown.
