Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts headline PS4's Japanese launch campaign

If you haven’t heard, the PS4 is finally launching in Japan this month – the 22nd to be exact – and Sony Japan has kicked their marketing teams into high gear with an outpouring of videos highlighting the various titles coming to the platform as part of their “Play & Peace” campaign.

Much like Final Fantasy XIII was used to push the original PS3 launch back in 2006, Kingdom Hearts III, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and Final Fantasy XV are being used to showcase the PS4’s big games that will be coming eventually down the line.

Final Fantasy XIV will see its beta come to the PS4 worldwide on Japanese launch day with a full release on April 14th. Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts III remain to be determined, but likely won’t release until 2015 or 2016 based on the absence of current developments.
