Final Fantasy Explorers announced for 3DS By Erren Van Duine on June 11, 2014 at 12:28 PM

ExplorersA new handheld Final Fantasy game is on the way to the Nintendo 3DS in Japan according to some leaks from Jump magazine. This new title is a four-player multiplayer RPG similar in style to the Crystal Chronicles series.

In order to seek out crystals, players will be tasked with defeating monsters with job-based abilities – including Black Mage, White Mage, Monk and Paladin with more to be revealed in the future.

Square Enix has yet to set a release date or western commitment on the title but we’ll be sure to have more information soon enough.
