The free login weekend returns to Final Fantasy XIV once again, allowing those who have purchased and played on a registered Square Enix account to return to the game and experience some of the content that’s been added since last subscribing.

Starting from Friday, January 30, 2015 at 12:00 a.m. to Monday, February 2, 2015 at 12:00 a.m. (PST) eligible fans will be able to log back in right on the heals of the newly released Patch 2.5 content. For those that missed out, Square Enix has added five content packs post-release, with the latest adding the third and final tier of Crystal Tower, new trials with Gilgamesh and Odin along with new dungeons and the continuation of the main scenario. Patch 2.5 will see further additions in the coming months as well including the introduction of the Manderville Gold Saucer, Triple Triad, chocobo racing and more leading up to the game’s first expansion this Spring.
