During the end of Square Enix’s conference at Japan Expo, Dragon Quest creator Yuji Horii apparently accidentally announced that both Dragon Quest VII and Dragon Quest VIII will be coming to West on 3DS. Japan Expo is held in Paris and this announcement was towards the French community, but it is likely to release in other territories as well.

Dragon Quest VII released on 3DS in Japan back in early 2013 and Dragon Quest VIII is scheduled to release later this year on 3DS.
