First trailer for Final Fantasy Brave Exvius released By Red Makuzawa on September 16, 2015 at 1:23 AM

Square Enix has uploaded the first trailer for one of their mobile games developed A-Lim titled “Final Fantasy Brave Exvius”. Square Enix is also accepting pre-registrations for the game here now. The game is set to arrive on both iOS and Android devices this year in Japan. No confirmation on a Western localization yet, though Square Enix filled a trademark for “Brave Exvius” last year in November in Europe.

The game will be present at TGS 2015 via video form.

Huh, one of the guys reminds me of Ace. The game looks good. Won’t buy it though. Will get it if it’s being released on ps store.

Its a mobile game, so very unlikely to come to a PS device.

Feels like such a waste of money putting this much effort into those great sprites and even Visual Works CGI when it’s just a phone game.

    O_O Nice.

  • Krijn van Alten

If you see Möbius Final Fantasy it seems like this is the new approach SE wants to make with mobile games these days.

  • Adam Hedquist

    That’s why I won’t buy it.

  • Krijn van Alten

You are one of those oldies who still thinks that everything which comes on a mobile is crap just for the fact that it is on a mobile?

  • Zerox20

Keep in mind in Japan, mobile is huge and having full games is very common on mobile. Its the market there pretty much.

  • Adam Hedquist

Are you serious? please read my comment again. Where does it say that I think it’s crap? I said it looks “good” and that I might buy it, but not on a mobile. Not because I think mobile = crap. I’ve made that pretty clear. But simply for the fact that I don’t like playing on my phone. I am one of those “oldies” who wants FF to stay as action rpgs from now on. Because I don’t have fun with turn based or atb as I used to have as i kid.

Maybe you should read my comment again, so that you can see that it is in fact a question, I never said it was factual information.

And of course you may not like playing on a mobile. But maybe you should trying it more. SE is showing more and more attention to the mobile market. First is was mainly Japan, but now also (more) mobile titles are comming this way, and there is no reason to believe that SE is stopping this policy anytime soon. Might miss some good titles in the future.

I apologize. I never saw the question mark. Yeah, they’re really pushing towards the mobile market. However, I don’t like when they’re only focusing on phones. I’d like to have most of the games on pc, consoles or handhelds. I want a dedicated game device if i’m gonna play on the go. I’m already having a hard time to keep the batteries in my phone to last the entire day. I’m using it for so many other things, if I’m also gonna play games on it then I can’t completely rely on it when I need it the most. That’s why I want to have the option to play all of those mobile games on a dedicated game device. I know I will miss good games. That sucks, but I have to use my phone for other things.

And I personally just really dislike playing games on my phone heh. I have a few (all freemium because I refuse to pay for any games on my phone). They’re fun games in and of themselves, but I really never even liked playing on gameboy, game gear, DS, PSP, or Vita, so playing games on the phone is like the worst option of the bunch (controls wise). And obviously not everything on mobile is crap because they’ve released FFVII on mobile haven’t they?

uh, final fantasy or brave frontier?
