Dang I forget, is this the FF Dimensions 2 title? Or was that the other one? Cus man Dimensions was fantastic!

  • Erren Van Duine

Nope this is an original game.

  • Hang on, wasn’t this the one with the guy that lost his memory and looked a lot like XIII..?

  • Randy Marsh

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Dimensions 2; or Legends: Toki no Suisho, the game is like mediocre. It’s literally a step backwards in everything in greatness Dimensions was. It is a free to play mobile title unlike Dimensions, so you got stamina bars; there’s 3 types of stamina in it fyi, garbage armor and leveling system. Not to mention the gasha system in it is so terrible with low drop rates and the currency for draws drop so low; 50 for a log in bonus and 100 for like every 10 story missions, so you have to put money into the game. Also not to mention the game is entirely a copy and paste story from paste FF game elements, meet a girl near a meteorite, you go to a Mysidia, a Minwu dies (spoilers), Ultima is a forbidden magic, Vivi is a black mage, FF1 four fiends running around, clones chasing around, someone has a whole Cloud “Who am I?” attack, and the list goes on,

In other words, thank whatever supreme deity you worship that we’re not getting Toki no Suisho..

  • Daniel

Really that Toki no Suisho is that bad? I thought the overall look of the the game to be interesting, with the Time Travel element reminiscent of XIII-2 in some way. But I still wish that the game get an english release so I can play it and made a proper judgment, maybe I would like it, even if the game isn’ it that great

  • Daniel

This is Amazing!! This game has a wonderful soundtrack. It would be great if Square brings the other mobile games to us (Toki no Suisho and Mobius, I’m looking at you)

  • Lan

    Won’t let me register 🙁

  • Randy Marsh

The game isn’t bad, it’s mediocre, it’s more or less wasted potential and also unfocused content on a free to play mobile game. The high points of the game are the music; it’s Naoshi Mizuta, the return of FFX’s conditional turn based combat, the return of the esper system from FFVI, and the art style for the character graphics and the Genju stones.

Also, reminiscent of XIII-2 is a good way to describe it, because you got multiple immortal versions of one of the main antagonists, Chaos is a malevolent black force throughout time, and Chaos Bahamut is a recurring boss. You hit the nail really good there pal.

But yeah, I shouldn’t be making this a FFLTnS rant on a FFBE article. I hate to get a paper fan smack on the head by a mod or something.

  • Cool! Bring it on. 🙂

  • Anyone else having trouble registering? I filled out everything, I even checked the 2 checkboxes to agree to the terms and conditions and to receive news/updates. Nothing happened when I clicked on the Register button, and no, it wasn’t busy loading a new page.

  • Daniel

No, that one is Mobius FF

  • Daniel

That’s sad to hear, I have to say. I was so interested on that game because of those things you mentioned: FF X Battle System, Time Travel like XIII-2, Esper system from VI and I’m a huge fan of Mizuta

  • Randy Marsh

I’ve tried on IE, Chrome, and Firefox. Something seems to be up, but then again they probably know now, sites down

  • alexis

My phone has no more space after Kingdom Hearts X lol

  • alexis

Sounds like you’re talking about Mobius… used to be called Mevius before development ended, which sounds and looks a lot like Exvius.

  • Daniel

Too bad I can’t access that one on “legit ways.” since it was only relesead in North America and I live in Brazil :/

  • Krijn van Alten

Yes yes yes and yes, this was something I waited for a long time!

  • Krijn van Alten

I have to agree with him. Why couldn’t they just make it like dimensions was?
