Here's a look at NieR Automata gameplay from E3 2016

Via the PlayStation Underground stream at E3 2016, we get a closer look at the gameplay of NieR Automata — a follow up to the original NieR.

This time it’s being developed by Platinum Games, and features character designs by Akihiko Yoshida and music by Keiichi Okabe. Taro Yoko returns to direct the title too. The game tells the story of androids 2B, 9S and A2 and their battle to reclaim the mechanoid-driven dystopia overrun by powerful weapons known as “machine lifeforms.”

Square Enix has announced that the game will release in early 2017 for PlayStation 4.

You can check out the E3 2016 trailer along with new screenshots and concept artwork at our earlier post here.
