Final Fantasy XV mobhunts and party member commands detailed in Famitsu

Final Fantasy XV returns to Japanese magazines this week with a massive spread in Famitsu.

The magazine introduces both Iris and Ravus, who we covered recently in a separate report. NPCs and a variety of quest situations are shown, including dialogue options that will change the outcome of the situation depending on what you choose.

Final Fantasy XV will also feature a mobhunt system similar to the one found in Final Fantasy XII. Pick up different wanted marks at diner locations and slay them in the open world to gain rewards. Each reward is equal to the level of mob you’re taking on. While you’re in town, hit up local shops to purchase weapons, cooking items, health items and more. Of course, weapon shops have different offerings depending on the location.

On the battle front, Noctis’ friends can perform a number of special actions on his command. These include Tempest, Mark and Star Shell for Gladiolus, Ignis and Prompto respectively. Noctis can also mark enemies with a priority system for easier party AI take-down.
