Dragon Quest VIII 3DS overseas release pushed back to 2017 By Erren Van Duine on September 1, 2016 at 7:39 PM

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King has been officially delayed in all Western territories, Nintendo confirmed this morning. The 3DS port of the original PlayStation 2 game was schedule to release this year, but has since been shuffled to some time in 2017.

Along with the delay, Nintendo showed off new footage of Dragon Quest VII 3DS, which is still on track for its September 16 release. Those who pre-order the game can snag a free Dragon Quest VII theme for their 3DS system.
