Square Enix has shared their lineup for this year’s Jump Festa, set to run from December 17 through December 18 in Japan. With Final Fantasy XV out the door, the company is putting their efforts behind the Dragon Quest and Kingdom Hearts series – including a number of new trailers and stage events.

Rounding out the lineup, we’ll see Dragon Quest Monster Battle Scanner, Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3 Professional and the long-awaited Dragon Quest XI for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3DS. DQXI in particular has a special stage event scheduled for December 17 at 14:00 JST. The event will be live streamed for free on YouTube and Niconico.

Other Dragon Quest titles include Hoshi no Dragon Quest and Dragon Quest X.

Kingdom Hearts is bringing along new trailers for Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue. NieR: Automata and SaGa: Scarlet Grace will also be making appearances.

what about Final Fantasy VII Remake?? i hope this is not the entire lineup or i will be heartbroken…

  • Randy Marsh

Final Fantasy VII is usually reserved for bigger things like official Sony or E3 press conferences. So if you don’t see it this weekend at PSExp, then wait for E3.

  • I paid off like 5 games for next year. Unless an event has a release date, at this point, I don’t care. I wanna beat FFXV, ToB, and KH2.8 before anymore games become a focus.

  • Young Link

-sigh- i know…PSX this weekend is our only hope now…:( last year PSX was the last time we saw FFVII Remake which in a few days will be a full year ago..I really hope we see VII this weekend.

    KH 2.8, I can’t wait!<3

FF7R gets moneyhatted by Sony atleast partly. So do not expect it outside of events involving them.

  • Young Link

yeah..I know, Sony has a close bond with FFVII especially since they were the ones backing it so hard in the 90’s and it was the game that made the playstation sell, I would not be surprised if the FFVII Remake does not come out until 2018 and launches alongside the PS4 and PS5(assuming there will be a PS5 since Sony wants to compete with the Scorpio)

  • I like what I’ve played but still its long overdue time to go back to red mage blue mage black mage samurai sage ninja knight time mage.

  • Yuntu

PS5 will be 2019/2020, and well Sony already competes with the Scorpio and has a roughly 1 year headstart with the Pro.

Anyway I doubt FF7R will come out next year as well
